Tweet 年末年始に地元の愛媛に帰省して気がついたことの一つに、テレビの広告に映画広告が少ない、ということがある。 邦画の多くがテレビ局出資で作られていることもあり、東京にいると映画公開に合わせた特別番組やテレビCMがうんざりするくらい流される。ところが、地方に行くとそのCMがぱたっと減る。少なくとも愛媛ではそうだった。出稿されてないのだろう。 そもそも、地方に行くと映画館がない。私の田舎の宇和島にも昔は映画館があったが、今はなくなってしまった。映画を見ようと思ったら松山まで出ないといけないらしい。車で１時間半である。明らかに無理だ。 他の地方はどうかと思って、一般社団法人日本映画制作者連盟のサイトを見てみた。 ここに全国スクリーン数 がまとめられている。 シネコン化によって全国スクリーン数そのものは増えているらしい。だが「サイト数」の分布を見ると、厳しい現状が伺える。特に、関東以外の地方からは、今や映画館が消えかかっていることが分かる。この表を見ると、愛媛はまだまだマシのようだ。四国最大の人口を抱える松山市があるからだろう。 地方でも、県庁所在地には映画館はまだある。だがそ ...
