▼昨日、原発建屋で行われた換気用ホースを引き込む作業内容の詳細が公開された。どこだかの局ではCGで説明していた。

メンバーに選ばれたのは、東電社員2人と協力企業の作業員11人。「志願の形は取らず、原子炉内の構造を熟知し、経験が豊富な作業員を選んだ」(東電)という。2日前からリハーサルを何度も繰り返し、作業工程を確認。内部の放射線量は平均で毎時約10〜40ミリシーベルトと高いことがロボット測定で分かっており、13人は防護服に全面マスクを着け、放射性物質を吸い込まないよう重さ約13キロの空気ボンベを背負った。
午前11時32分。まず東電社員2人が建屋内に入り、約25分間にわたって内部の放射線量を計測して安全性を確認した。
午後1時半。管の搬入を開始。11人の作業員が交代で直径約30センチのポリエステル製の管8本を運び込んだ。管の設置場所は最大で入り口から約25メートル。1人当たり10分以上は中にとどまらないように慎重な作業が続けられた。午後3時8分ま ...
