▼僕の地元である宇和島では数年前から マグロの養殖事業 をやっていて、宇和海産「だてまぐろ」という名前で売り出している。なぜ「だて」かというと、宇和島藩は伊達家だから。
▼帰省したときにも一度も食べたことなかったのだが、近所のスーパーに行ったらその「だてまぐろ」の中トロが並んでいたので食べてみた。普通にうまい。そりゃ中トロなんだから当たり前だが。
▼養殖は宇和海マリンファーム株式会社というところがやっているのだが、これは宇和島の辻水産ほかとマリンフーズという会社とが一緒に2008年7月に立ち上げた会社。2008年の 「東洋経済」の記事 に拠ると、マリンフーズは日本ハム子会社とのこと。ここが流通を担当しているということのようだ。
▼検索したら楽天に「 まぐろ祭り 」というネットショップができていた。中トロや中落ちはもちろん、一本丸ごとも売っているみたい。

▼もうちょっとちゃんと内容が欲しかったけど、一般向けにはこのくらいのほうがいいのかもしれない。わからん。
