▼神戸新聞 1361年に定説覆す大津波か 南海地震
都司准教授は1361年の「正平(康安)地震」について記した法隆寺(奈良県)の記録を調査。海岸から4キロ以上、宝永地震の記録より約1キロ内陸の大阪市天王寺区の寺社まで津波が押し寄せていたことが確認されたという。都司准教授は「宝永地震と同じく、東海、東南海と同時連動した地震だった可能性が高い」と指摘する。
宝永地震については、同じ南海トラフ上にある九州・日向灘でも同時に地震が起きた「4連動地震」の説もあり、東京大や京都大などのチームは「300〜500年周期で4連動地震が発生している可能性がある」とする。その場合、破壊される断層は約700キロに達し、東日本大震災の約500キロを上回る。
▼何年か前にもこのニュースは見たように思うんだけど、今回の地震を受けて、安居神社(安居天満宮)まで津波が来ていたことが改めて確認されたということかな。
