Tweet ▼新刊。 『海の大国ニッポン』（東京大学海洋アライアンス／小学館） [ bk1 | amazon | 楽天 ] ▼時事　 「大きな敗北」「非常に反省」＝予知不可能の意見も　大震災で特別シンポ・地震学会 政府や研究者の地震予知に否定的な立場のロバート・ゲラー東京大大学院教授は「大震災を受け、地震発生の仕組みの研究や国の地震対策などはリセットするべきだ」と述べた。 　同教授は「東北でＭ９級の巨大地震があり得るという研究成果はあったが、国や学会で見逃されていた」と強調。地震予知が重視される現状を批判し、「政府が仮定している地震と、実際に発生するものが一致していない。正確かつ識別可能な地震の前兆は存在せず、現時点での予知はできない」と断じた。 　東北大大学院の松沢暢教授は「今回の巨大地震は地震学の大きな敗北。海溝付近の地殻変動や過去の巨大地震、津波のデータが不足している」と指摘。政府の中央防災会議での議論に関わった同大学院の長谷川昭教授からは「巨大地震をまったく想定できず、非常に反省し、責任を感じる。今後は、学会としてもっと多様な意見を共有するべきだ」との提言が ...
