米食品医薬品局（FDA）は2012年3月16日、結核（TB）の診断検査のうち、核酸検出によって同定を行う検査について、医療機器としてのリスク区分を現在のクラスから一段階下げる提案を発表した。低リスク区分に変更になることで、これらの検査の承認申請がより迅速かつ簡便になり、開発が促進されるとしている。

▼東京都防災ホームページ 首都直下地震等による東京の被害想定（平成24年4月18日公表）
都は、東日本大震災を踏まえ、平成１８年５月に公表した「首都直下地震による東京の被害想定」を全面的に見直すこととし、東京都防災会議の地震部会において検討を進めてきました。
このたび、その結果を「首都直下地震等による東京の被害想定」報告書として、別添のとおりとりまとめ、防災会議に報告の上、承認されましたので、お知らせします。
今後、本報告書を踏まえて地域防災計画を修正し、必要な対策を強力に推進することで、東京の防災力を高度化していきます。
