理研CDB竹市センター長ら、カドヘリン分子群Celsr1が神経管形成に重要、Cell誌に発表  from 日経バイオテクONLINE  (2012-5-25 1:00)

理化学研究所発生・再生科学総合研究センター（CDB）の竹市雅俊センター長/高次構造形成研究グループディレクターらは、カドヘリン分子群に属するセルサー1（Celsr1）が、脳・脊髄の基となる神経管形成のために必要な神経板の湾曲において、中心的な役割を担うことを突き止め、神経板を一定方向に収縮させる仕組みを解明した。竹市センター長と西村珠子研究員（現、神戸大学バイオシグナル研究センター助教）、本多久夫客員主幹研究員（兵庫大学健康科学部教授）らがCell誌2012年5月25日号に発表する。

東京大学大学院農学生命科学研究科応用生命化学専攻/総括プロジェクト機構「食と生命」総括寄付講座（ネスレ）の高橋薫氏（M1、写真左）と加藤久典特任教授（同右）らは、マイクロRNA（miRNA）をマイクロアレイで網羅的に解析することにより、低たんぱく食や絶食による栄養状態の変化に応答するmiRNAを特定し、脂肪酸代謝関連遺伝子の発現量変動との関連性を見いだした。仙台市で開かれた日本栄養・食糧学会第66回大会で2012年5月20日午後に発表した。この発表は同大会の一般講演トピックスに選ばれた。
