アステラス製薬、7年を掛けてタクロリムス徐放性製剤を米国再申請へ

アステラス製薬は2012年9月25日、米国子会社のAstellas Pharma US社が米食品医薬品局（FDA）にタクロリムス徐放性製剤の販売許可申請を提出したと発表した。効能・効果は「成人腎臓移植患者および成人男性肝臓移植患者における拒絶反応の抑制」である。日本では08年に製品名「グラセプター」で承認を得ている。

ファーマフーズ、2015年7月期に売上高20億円、純利益2億円へ

ファーマフーズは2012年9月26日、第15期（2011年8月から2012年7月まで）の決算説明会を野村證券アーバンネット大手町ビル（東京・千代田）で開催した。2012年7月期は、売上高12億2500万円、営業利益7000万円、経常利益1億2200万円、当期純利益6000万円だった（9月13日に決算発表）。2011円7月期決算の売上高10億600万円、営業利益▲4400万円、経常利益3200万円、当期純利益▲4600万円に比べ、増収増益で黒字転換を達成した。増益は3期連続だ。2013年7月期は、売上高15億円、営業利益5000万円、経常利益6000万円、当期純利益5500万円と、増収減益を見込んでいる。

東洋新薬と武蔵野大薬が生薬学会で発表、黒ショウガが体脂肪蓄積を低減し体温低下を抑制

東洋新薬は、タイやラオスの山間部に自生しているショウガ科の植物Kaempferia parviflora（Kp）が、体脂肪の蓄積を低減する作用と、体温の低下を抑制する作用を発揮することを、武蔵野大学薬学部の油田正樹教授と嶋田努講師との共同研究で見いだした。千葉県木更津市で開かれた日本生薬学会第59回年会で2012年9月18日に、東洋新薬の研究者が2演題連続で口頭発表した。Kpは現地では滋養強壮、体力回復、循環器系・消化器系の改善などの効果を目的として一般的に用いられているという。英名はBlack Gingerで、日本では黒ショウガと称されることもある。東洋新薬では黒ショウガとして認知度を高める活動を進めている。
