Tweet ▼natureやscienceに論文が出るときに研究者がプレスリリース出すのは普通になってきたけど、リリース文は長くてもいいから、とにかく丁寧に書いておくべき。「丁寧に」というのは、事前知識や背景知識がない人が読んでも十分、研究の価値が把握できるように、という意味です。 ▼「長いと読まれないよ〜」と広報の人からは言われるかもしれませんが、そのための対策としては、本文の前に要約をつけておけばすむ。それだけのこと。記者会見に来る新聞記者たちは背景知識はないかもしれないけどバカではない。ちゃんと書いておけば内容は理解してくれるだろうし、適切な要約は彼らの本業。事前に研究者側が要約してしまう必要はない。 ▼簡潔に面白くしようと思うかもしれないけど、どこを尖らせるか、あるいは見出しをどうするかというのは、さらにその後の話。実際、新聞でも記事を書く記者と、見出しを立てる整理部は別々の部署になってるのはそういう理由なわけで、まずはちゃんと内容を理解してもらうことだけ考えればいい。 ▼……はずだ、と思う。 ▼産総研　 西暦869年貞観津波の復元と東北地方太平洋沖地震の教訓　古地震研究の重要性と研 ...
