草の根奨学金としてのさつき会奨学金の意義は大きかった！
あらためてご協力にお礼を申し上げます。
そして今後もどうぞ寄付のお力添えを。
連休明け、東大で様々な奨学金制度に関わられており、昨年春のさつき奨学金の起ち上げから実際に３名の奨学生が選ばれるまでの１年、さつき会のパートナーとしても いろいろご協力いただいた 東大本部の奨学厚生課のHさん、Uさんにご感想を伺う機会がありました。
おふたりのお話は以下の通りです。
募集条件が「自宅外通学をせざるを得ない地方の女子学生」対象としぼりこまれており、果たして応募がどれ位くるだろうかと 正直なところ 不安は大変大きかった。
担当しているその他の奨学金は 日本学生支援機構（旧：育英会）のような国の機関、財団法人、あるいは成功した事業の創業者によるものなので、 さつき会奨学金のように個々人の寄付で積み上げられた「草の根」的な性格を持った奨学金はほとんど聞いたことがないものであり 大きな意義があると感じている。
