フランスCellectis社は2013年5月16日、米特許商標局(USPTO)により同社のTAL-effector nucleases(「TALEN」)の米特許2件(特許番号8,440,431および8,440,432)が承認されたと発表した。Cellectis社は、顧客がゲノム・エンジニアリング・プロジェクトにTALEN製品を活用できるよう成立したこれら2件の新しい米特許をライセンス・アウトしていく。
