理化学研究所、日本IBM、エクサ、シーケンサー解析データを磁気テープで保管  from 日経バイオテクONLINE  (2013-7-11 15:30)

理化学研究所ライフサイエンス技術基盤研究センターと日本IBM、システムインタグレータのエクサは、ゲノム解析用に2013年4月から運用を始めた新システムを2013年7月10日に公開した。同システムは、理研が実施している、ゲノムデータ受託解析サービスGeNAS向けに導入されたもの。

東京大学大学院新領域創成科学研究科附属オーミクス情報センターの服部正平教授と、理化学研究所統合生命医科学研究センター消化管恒常性研究チームの本田賢也チームリーダーらは、制御性T細胞（Treg細胞）を誘導するヒトの腸内細菌群の同定に成功した。ヒトの腸内に生息する17種類のクロストリジウム属菌の混合物に、Tregを誘導する働きがあることを、マウスを用いた実験で突き止めた。2013年7月10日にNature誌オンライン版に発表した。筆頭著者は理研統合生命医科学研究センターの新幸二博士。
