免疫生物研究所の清藤勉社長に聞く、「30周年を迎え、初心に帰る」  from 日経バイオテクONLINE  (2013-7-30 15:26)

1982年創立の免疫生物研究所は、抗体を取得する技術・ノウハウを武器に、研究用試薬や体外診断用医薬品に用いる抗体を作製、供給する事業を主力として成長してきた。99年10月からは、実験動物を販売する米Taconic Farms社の日本での独占販売代理店を務めて、第2の柱に育てた。抗体作製では06年3月、アステラス製薬に抗オステオポンチン抗体の独占的権利を譲渡、総額25億円の契約を締結した。当時、ベンチャー企業が成立させた契約では大型案件であった。成長が認められ、1年後の07年3月に大阪証券取引所ヘラクレス市場（現在はJASDAQグロース市場）に上場を果たしている。

大塚製薬は2013年7月29日、都内でうつ病に関するプレスセミナーを開催した。国際医療福祉大学医療福祉学部の上島国利教授（写真）が登壇。「エビリファイ」（アリピプラゾール）が大うつ病障害の臨床試験において、増強療法の有用性を示したことを紹介し、大うつ病の治療に新しい選択肢が増えたと述べた。

米国のジェネリック医薬品メーカーであるPerrigo社は、2013年7月29日、アイルランドのバイオ医薬メーカーであるElan社を買収したと発表した。
