Delft工科大学、酵母に二酸化炭素活用能力を導入し、バイオエタノールの生産性をアップ  from 日経バイオテクONLINE  (2013-9-26 0:00)

オランダDelft工科大学（TU Delft：Delft University of Technology）は2013年9月9日、バクテリアとホウレン草から4つの遺伝子を導入して二酸化炭素を利用できるようにした酵母(Saccharomyces cerevisiae）のバイオエタノール生産性を改善することに成功したと発表した。この研究成果は2013年8月29日に発行されたBiotechnology for Biofuels誌に「Carbon dioxide fixation by Calvin-Cycle enzymes improves ethanol yield in yeast」（6:125,2013）というタイトルの論文として掲載されている。
