2013国際ロボット展・雑感

▼国際ロボット展。３日間連続で行った。今回はやっぱり双腕ロボットだろうなあ。あっちのブースで双腕、こっちで双腕。ただし、最初からガチなところもあれば、まだまったくのトライアルというところもあったりと、その辺りはバラバラ。バクスターも初めて見た。 動画はこちらから 。
▼安川ブースは色んな種類の双腕ロボだらけ。双腕ロボットと一言でいっても、簡易に設置できるのが売りのところもあるし、これまでの産ロボ同様がっつり固定のところもある。ティーチングも通常どおりペンダントでってところもあるし、自動生成でってところも。細かいところは各社それぞれにちゃんと取材しないと分からないだろうけど……
▼今回の国際ロボット展を見てると、少し景気が戻って来たのかな感はあった。何回か前の、大型搬送ロボがうなりまくっていたような展示は今回はなかったけど、それなりのサイズのロボットも出展され、新し目のモノも出て来ていて。
▼サービスロボットゾーンは（市場もないのに）展示会での面積が広過ぎなんじゃないかという気もしたけど。

４つのローターを持った小型ヘリ、クアッドコプターが群れをなして飛行する「レクサス」のCM。
これがなぜ「レクサス」の宣伝になるのか、コンセプトは全然分かりませんが、映像としては大変面白いです。

米食品医薬品局（FDA）は2013年11月7日、加工食品中に多く含まれる人工トランス脂肪である部分的に水素化された油脂（PHOs：partially hydrogenated oils）を食品で使用するのはGRAS（generally recognized as safe：安全と認められること）でないと認定する方針を発表した。このFDAの方針は科学的根拠に基づいたものであり、エキスパートであるサイエンスパネルの意見に依る。

中国山東大学（Shandong University）の微生物技術国家重点研究所（SKLMT：State Key Laboratory for Microbial Technology）の研究チームは2013年10月31日、Gluconobacter oxydans DSM 2003菌株を使って2,3-ブタンジオールをアセトインに変換するバイオプロセスを開発した研究成果を最新号のBiotechnology for Biofuels誌（6:155, 2013）に「Efficient bioconversion of 2,3-butanediol into acetoin using Gluconobacter oxydans DSM 2003」というタイトルの論文として発表した。
