米NextCODE Health社は2013年10月23日、米deCODE genetics社が開発した技術を遺伝子配列に基づく臨床診断に適用するための独占ライセンスを得たと発表した。また、NextCODE社は米Polaris Partners社と米ARCH Venture Partners社からシリーズAファイナンスで1500万ドルを調達したことで、遺伝子分析サービスを臨床分野に迅速に拡大できるとしている。
