日経バイオテク12月16日号「In The Market」、400台で推移したバイオINDEX、3Dマトリックスがじりじり下げ�

10月中旬から11月にかけて500台から400台に低下した日経BP・バイオINDEXは、そのまま400台を維持したまま12月になった。11月28日に434.1まで下落したが、その後は若干上昇し12月5日には471.2まで回復。12月9日は457.9だった。この期間、多くのバイオ銘柄の株価が低下したが、中でもスリー・ディー・マトリックス（3Dマトリックス）が顕著だった。

製薬企業の2013年度上期の業績には、円安に振れた為替の動向が大きく寄与した。武田薬品は米国で中枢神経領域に参入し、アステラスの「Xtandi」は欧州でも発売された。再生医療関連法案の整備により複数のバイオベンチャーが開発戦略見直しを進めている。

「いまを生きる〜女性のリーダーシップ、子育てと仕事の両立模索」
というテーマでお話を頂きます。

Dow AgroSciences社、除草剤2,4-D耐性トウモロコシの米特許が成立

米Dow AgroSciences社は2013年12月11日、トウモロコシに除草剤1,2-D（2,4-ジクロロフェノキシ酢酸）に対する耐性を付与する遺伝形質をカバーした米特許8,598,413番が成立したと発表した（関連記事）。この耐性トウモロコシはDow AgroSciences社の除草剤耐性品種「Enlist」シリーズのひとつとなる。このトウモロコシは2,4-DやFOP（アリルオキシフェノキシプロパノエート）系など広葉用・草用の除草剤に対して強固な耐性をもつ。Enlistトウモロコシは当局からの承認待ちで、米国では2015年に発売できる見通しである。
