第11回さつきサロン夜の部は2014年1月10日(金）に開催いたします。
今回は指揮者の岸本祐有乃さん(97年農学部卒・指揮者)をナビゲーターにお招きし、
「いまを生きる〜女性のリーダーシップ、子育てと仕事の両立模索」
というテーマでお話を頂きます。
さつきサロンは、アットホームな雰囲気で先輩・後輩と交流ができる会です。さつき会会員に限らず、東大・東大大学院に在籍経験のある女性の方でしたら、どなたもご参加いただけますので、ぜひ、お誘い合わせの上お越しください。

米Dow AgroSciences社は2013年12月11日、トウモロコシに除草剤1,2-D（2,4-ジクロロフェノキシ酢酸）に対する耐性を付与する遺伝形質をカバーした米特許8,598,413番が成立したと発表した（関連記事）。この耐性トウモロコシはDow AgroSciences社の除草剤耐性品種「Enlist」シリーズのひとつとなる。このトウモロコシは2,4-DやFOP（アリルオキシフェノキシプロパノエート）系など広葉用・草用の除草剤に対して強固な耐性をもつ。Enlistトウモロコシは当局からの承認待ちで、米国では2015年に発売できる見通しである。
