日本OTC医薬品協会は2014年1月27日、都内で新年記者会見を開催した。テーマは「OTC医薬品産業グランドデザインの構築と実践、それに向けた組織改革」で、吉野俊昭会長と上原明副会長/事業活動戦略会議座長、杉本雅史副会長/セルフメディケーション推進プロジェクトリーダーが登壇した。2013年に国策としてセルフメディケーションが位置付けられたことから、OTC医薬品産業にとり展望が開けてきたことが繰り返し強調された。
