農業・食品産業技術総合研究機構(農研機構、NARO)食品総合研究所(食総研)食品機能研究領域食認知科学ユニットの日下部裕子上席研究員らは、クラスC型Gたんぱく質共役受容体(GPCR)に分類される甘味受容体T1r2/T1r3の細胞膜への移動が、ヒトとマウスとで異なることを見いだした。クラスC型GPCRの細胞外の領域に細胞膜への移動を制御する部位が含まれることが分かったのはこれが初めてだ。日下部上席研究員と岡山大学大学院医歯薬学総合研究科構造生物薬学の山下敦子教授(理化学研究所客員研究員)らの研究グループが、PLOS ONE誌で発表した。山下教授は以前、理研播磨研究所分子シグナリング研究チームのチームリーダーを務めていた。
