▼日経 ヒト型ロボ軽やかに 「ＡＩＢＯ」開発者のベンチャーが開発
ロボット開発ベンチャーのスピーシーズ（東京都三鷹市）はスリムな外観で静かに動くヒト型ロボットシステムを開発した。全身に張り巡らせた細いワイヤを小型モーターで動かす独自の仕組みを採用し、軽くてなめらかな動きが表現できるようにした。アニメや漫画に登場するスリムなキャラクターの外装をまといやすくなる。2015年中に玩具メーカーなどと組み商品化する。５万円程度での販売を目指す。
むかしなつかしのスピーシーズが復活。
ちょっと前に、今年になって ホームページ が更新されてるなと思っていたのですが、
発表となったようです。
外装なしで発表してしまったこと、
モーターを制御しているにしても、
これを敢えて「ロボット」としている理由が良く分かりませんが、
（むしろ人形素体としてはっきりアピールしたほうが良かったのでは）
無事に商品化されることを期待しています。
５万円は難しそうな気もしますけれど。

中国科学アカデミー（Chinese Academy of Sciences）は2014年7月22日、北京にある遺伝学・発生生物学研究所の植物細胞・染色体工学研究室の研究チームが、世界トップの食糧源であるコムギに大打撃を与える「うどん粉病」（powdery mildew）を引き起こす破壊的な真菌病原体に対して抵抗性のあるコムギ品種を、先進ゲノム編集技術を用いて創出することに成功したと発表した。
