欧州議会（EP：European Parliament）は2015年4月14日、EPの環境委員会が欧州理事会（European Council）より提出された欧州連合（EU：European Union）のバイオ燃料政策を変更する案を、賛成51、反対12、棄権1で承認したと発表した。この承認された改訂案は4月27-30日にフランスStrasbourgで開催される全体会議で可決される見込みで、加盟国は2017年までに法律を制定しなければならない。
