DNAミスマッチ修復（MMR）の欠損が抗PD-1抗体pembrolizumabの幅広い癌種での効果予測因子となる可能性が明らかとなった。特に大腸癌患者ではMMR欠損患者では62％が腫瘍縮小したのに対し、異状のない患者では奏効した患者はいなかった。また、他の種類のMMR欠損癌でも奏効率は同様に60％が得られた。フェーズII試験の結果、最初のゲノムのマーカーとして同定されたもの。5月28日から6月2日までシカゴで開催されている米国臨床腫瘍学会（ASCO2015）で、米Johns Hopkins UniversityのDung T.Le氏によって発表された。

進行固形癌に対して、経口dUTPase（deoxyuridine triphosphatase) 阻害薬のTAS-114とS-1の併用が有望であることが明らかになった。フェーズI試験で忍容性と抗腫瘍効果が認められたもの。5月28日から6月2日までシカゴで開催されている米国臨床腫瘍学会（ASCO2015）で、国立がん研究センター東病院の土井俊彦氏によって発表された。

エンドシアリンに対するヒト化IgG1モノクローナル抗体であるontuxizumabは、日本人進行肝細胞癌（HCC）において忍容で、良好な疾患コントロールを得られることが、国内で実施されたフェーズIの拡大試験で示された。5月29日から6月2日まで米国シカゴで開催されている第51回米国臨床腫瘍学会（ASCO）で、国立がん研究センター東病院肝胆膵内科の池田公史氏らが報告した。

進行固形腫瘍の日本人患者を対象としたフェーズIの反復投与用量漸増試験から、抗PD-L1抗体製剤avelumab（MSB0010718C）は、最大で20mg/kgの2週毎の投与が安全に行える可能性が示された。5月29日から6月2日まで米国シカゴで開催されている第51回米国臨床腫瘍学会（ASCO2015）で、国立がん研究センター東病院先端医療科・消化管内科の設楽絋平氏が発表した。
