進行固形腫瘍の日本人患者を対象としたフェーズIの反復投与用量漸増試験から、抗PD-L1抗体製剤avelumab(MSB0010718C)は、最大で20mg/kgの2週毎の投与が安全に行える可能性が示された。5月29日から6月2日まで米国シカゴで開催されている第51回米国臨床腫瘍学会(ASCO2015)で、国立がん研究センター東病院先端医療科・消化管内科の設楽絋平氏が発表した。
