12個の遺伝子発現を解析して、大腸癌の再発のリスクを予測するOncotype Dxが日本人にも有効であることが初めて明らかとなった。手術のみを受けた2期、3期の大腸癌患者を対象にリカレンススコアが再発を予測できるかを評価した、Japan Colon Cancer Reseach Group(JCCRG)が行ったSUNRISE試験の結果、示された。7月1日から4日にスペインバルセロナで開催されているESMO 17th World Congress on Gastrointestinal Cancer(WCGC2015)で、大阪医療センターの池田正孝氏が発表した。
