微生物の遺伝子解析などを手掛けるジナリスとその子会社のジナリスオミックス（いずれも神奈川県横浜市、西達也社長）は2016年7月11日、東京地方裁判所において破産手続きの開始決定を受けた。負債額はジナリスが3億5000万円、うちジナリスオミックスが約2億5000万円。
