米Pfizer社は2016年9月13日、抑うつ状態にある人の意欲を引き出し、勇気付けをするアプリケーション「Moodivator」の配信を開始したと発表した。Apple App StoreからiPhoneにダウンロードする無料アプリで、抑うつ状態の人が自身の気分を追跡し、目標を定め、改善を確認しながら日常生活を取り戻す手助けをするようにデザインされた。治療の補完的な役割が期待できるシンプルでポータブルの方法だ。

厚生労働省のゲノム医療等実現推進タスクフォースは9回も会議を重ね、今やいよいよ中間報告の最終策定に入りました。近く公表される見通しです。内容は、ゲノム情報の取り扱い、ゲノム医療の質の確保（遺伝子関連検査の品質・精度確保）、そして社会環境整備などです。ゲノム医療を社会が善用する基盤となる遺伝子差別禁止法を主張する田副フォースの参加者も多かったのです。実際、米国では遺伝子情報差別禁止法（GINA）によって、遺伝子情報による雇用と健康保険契約の禁止を定めています。「まだ被害が無い」など厚労省は法令化に後ろ向きです。立法技術上難しいと率直に言う官僚もいました。しかし、このまま、もぐらたたきのような対応に終始するだけでは、何よりも重要な国民のゲノムに対する理解（リスクも含めて）は進まず、安心してゲノム医療を受けたり、ゲノム医療のデータを共有したりして、さらにゲノム医療の質を向上させるサイクルを回すこともままなりません。出来の悪い個人情報保護法ではこうしたことも不可能です。前のメールでも申し上げましたが、医療関連情報の保護・利活用法とゲノム差別禁止法をまとめた新法を制定すべきではないでしょうか? ...
