「米国では、FDAが一部の医療用ICTアプリを医療機器として承認した。海外では、薬のように医師がアプリを“処方”しているところもある」――。医療用アプリの動向をそう話すのは、東京大学大学院 医学系研究科 特任准教授の脇嘉代氏だ。2016年7月6日の「第5回 健康長寿ループの会」（東京大学）に登壇した同氏は、2型糖尿病患者向けの自己管理支援システム「DialBetics」について話した。DialBeticsは東京大学大学院 医学系研究科 健康空間情報学講座とNTTドコモが共同開発したもの。
