DNAチップ研究所は2016年7月20日、1回の血液採取で、複数の関節リウマチのバイオ医薬品の効果を予測する検査サービス「リウマチェックスリー」を開始したと発表した。患者の血液中のRNAからDNAマイクロアレイを用いて遺伝子の状況を調べ、TNFα阻害薬のインフリキシマブとIL6受容体阻害薬のトシリズマブ、T細胞活性抑制薬のアバタセプトの3種類について、投与半年後にどの薬が効果があるかを判定する。慶應義塾大学リウマチ内科の竹内勤教授らと共同で開発した。
