中外製薬は2016年7月28日、血友病Aを適応とするバイスペシフィック（二重特異性）抗体emicizumab（ACE910）のフェーズI/II試験（ACE002JP、JapicCTI-121934）において、インヒビターの有無に関わらず週1回の皮下投与により持続的な出血予防効果が確認されたことを、世界血友病連盟2016年世界大会（WFH2016）で発表した。ACE002JPの結果は、2016年5月26日のThe New England Journal of Medicine（NEJM）電子版にも掲載されている。
