食品科学工学会、8月末の公開シンポで「ゲノム編集」

国際食品科学工学連合日本支部（IUFoST-Japan）の公開シンポジウムで、初めて「ゲノム編集」が取り上げられる。名城大学で開催される日本食品科学工学会第63回大会で2016年8月26日、「先端バイオテクノロジーを用いた農産物の機能開発」をテーマとしたシンポジウムが開催され、4講演のうち3講演の演題名に「ゲノム編集」がある。最初にIUFoST-Japanの専務理事を務める実践女子大学の田島眞学長があいさつし、最後に世話人3人のうちの1人である京都大学大学院の松村康生教授が総括する。

皆さん、こんにちは。『民藝』編集部のSです。 本日8月11日は山の日。今年から祝日になったということですが、編集部は祝日も関係なくパソコンに向かっています。 さて、豊田会場と前後してしまいますが、夏期学校佐久会場の報告をしたいと思います。 既に『民藝』8月号で報告記事を掲載しましたので、ここでは3日間のアルバムのようにお写真を紹介したいと思います。
佐久会場は7月8日?〜10日?の開催され、信州の清々しい自然と空気に心洗われ、小林多津衛先生の教えが根付いており、 改めて平和とは何かを考えさせられる3日間でした。
１日目 多津衛民芸館での様子。
