グリーンぺプタイドは、2016年11月21日、アドバンスト・イミュノセラピー（東京・港、三輪玄二郎代表取締役）と出資契約を締結し、同社が実施する第三者割当増資を引き受けて子会社化すると発表した。同時に、アドバンスト・イミュノセラピーが開発を進めている、癌抗原特異的再生T細胞を用いた癌免疫細胞療法の開発に参入する。

新たな癌免疫療法の1つとして注目されるT細胞受容体（T Cell Receptor）遺伝子導入T細胞療法（TCR療法）に関しては、これまで国内で自家のTCR療法の臨床研究や医師主導治験が実施された他、タカラバイオが2016年度中に滑膜肉腫を対象とした治験をスタートさせる見通しだ。一方で、日本で初となる他家のTCR療法の医師主導治験を実施する動きもある。2016年11月7日、同医師主導治験を計画する長崎大学大学院医歯薬学総合研究科臨床腫瘍学分野の池田裕明教授に聞いた（関連記事）。
