「抗酸化」の文言を機能性表示に含む機能性表示食品の届け出受理の2番手を、2016年末に消費者庁が公表した。富士フイルムのサプリメント「飲むアスタキサンチンAX」（届出番号：B294、届出日：2016年11月8日）。同社は2017年1月8日に販売開始予定と、届出書類に記載している。1日摂取目安量2粒当たりのアスタキサンチン配合量は6mg。アスタキサンチンを含むヘマトコッカス藻色素の他に、白ゴマ抽出物や亜鉛酵母、セレン酵母、αリポ酸などを原材料としており、1日当たりの成分量がセサミン10mg、亜鉛5mg、セレン25μgなどであることから、同社が2016年7月6日に発売した「飲むアスタキサンチン」と同様のサプリメントといえる。
