世界最大の周年無菌養蚕工場が熊本に3月完成  from 日経バイオテクONLINE  (2017-1-26 0:00)

熊本県山鹿市に2017年3月末、年50tの絹糸（シルク）を生産できる環境制御型の養蚕工場が竣工する。総工費23億円で、建屋面積は4174平米。世界最大の養蚕工場としている。京都工芸繊維大学の松原藤好名誉教授らが開発した「蚕の周年無菌養蚕システム」を採用し、年24回の繭生産が可能という。建設は大成建設が担当している。起工は2016年7月27日。熊本地震の影響で3カ月遅れになった。
