リボミックは、2016年11月16日、2017年3月期第2四半期決算説明会を開催し、同社の開発パイプラインの進捗について説明した。自社開発を進めている線維芽細胞成長因子（Fibroblast Growth Factor:FGF）2を標的としたアプタマーRBM007は、「2018年度には臨床試験を開始できるのではないか」と中村義一社長はコメントした。

そーせいグループは2016年11月14日、2017年3月期第2四半期決算説明会を開催。大型導出などにより黒字化を達成した。同期の売上高は前年同期比523％増の158億3900万円。これに伴い営業利益は前年同期の7億5300万円の損失から一転、122億2300万円の黒字となった。この結果に対して、Peter Bains代表執行役社長 CEOは、「非常に堅調な第2四半期の業績となっており、オペレーション上も戦略上も今後の成長を描けるものとなっている」と評価した。
