IMSジャパンは2017年2月9日、国内医薬品市場の2016年売り上げデータ(薬価ベース)を発表した。通年の医療用医薬品の売り上げは、前年比0.3%増の計10兆6246億3600万円で、2年連続10兆円を突破し、薬効別1位は抗癌剤の計9582億1900万円(前年比16.8%増)、製品1位は全身性抗ウイルス薬「ハーボニー配合錠」(レジパスビルアセトン付加物・ソホスブビル)で2960億4900万円(同151.7%増)だった。
