欧米製薬企業の2016年12月期決算の発表が始まった。今回は、スイスの2大製薬企業であるRoche社とNovartis社について解説していきたい。Roche社は、医薬品と診断薬の両事業セグメントが堅調に推移して増収を維持した。パイプラインについても、抗PD-L1抗体やALK阻害薬が承認を取得するなど順調な期となった。Novartis社は、トップ製品が3割弱の減収となるなど3期連続の減収となった。なお、Novartis社は2016年12期に事業ゼグメントの組換えをしているので注意が必要である。
