大阪大学大学院工学研究科の松浦友亮准教授と理化学研究所生命システム研究センター（理研QBiC）の清水義宏ユニットリーダーらは、最少成分で構成された蛋白質合成反応の大規模全成分計算機シミュレーターを開発し、実験結果と整合性のあるシミュレーション結果を生成できた成果を、2017年2月7日に米PNAS誌にて論文発表した。開発したシミュレーターとデータ解析手法は、細胞内反応の大規模時系列データの解析や再構成型無細胞翻訳系を用いた有用蛋白質生産性の向上に寄与すると期待できるという。
